Quzhou Foreign Language School (QFLS)

Quzhou Foreign Language School was established to:

• promote international education at secondary-school level;

1. Middle School (Grades 7–9) — programmes, English, mathematics, bilingual study and in-depth practical cultural adaptation.
2. IGCSE (Grades 9–10) — Cambridge international subjects taught in English.
3. A-Level / AP (Grades 10–12) — an academic course providing a direct route to universities in the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Japan and Europe.
Each child can also retain Chinese certification if they later choose to enter Chinese universities — flexibility and security in one format.

BFSU International Program
Academic supervision from Beijing Foreign Studies University: methodological support, teacher training, joint workshops and exchange of experience.

Cambridge Assessment International (CAIE)
International accreditation from the University of Cambridge. QFLS is an official Cambridge examination centre (accreditation No. CX053).

College Board

College Board administers the international SAT and AP examinations. The school is an authorised Advanced Placement (AP) centre, registered with College Board under code No. 694837.

A-Level
A British upper-secondary programme recognised by universities worldwide. It allows direct entry to leading universities without preparatory courses.

British Council
QFLS is an official partner and accredited IELTS Demonstration School recognised by the British Council. Students can therefore take IELTS and Cambridge English examinations on campus without travelling to other cities.

Chinese language
The school’s second main language is the language of the future and international business. Students reach a level sufficient for study and life in China, and can also take HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi).
