Canada’s immigration plan for 2021–2023

Dear applicants and parents, admission to a Canadian university is presented as an opportunity to immigrate to Canada.

Canada announced an immigration plan for 2021–2023 with the highest targets in its history: more than 400,000 immigrants per year. Previously, the only year in which it admitted more than 400,000 was 1913.

The plan targeted 401,000 new permanent residents in 2021, 411,000 in 2022 and 421,000 in 2023.

The original announcement encouraged applicants to finish university by 2023 to take advantage of this opportunity and become Canadian citizens. More information is available through the original article and video links.
