ESL (English Second Language)
Prepare for further education, career development or simply enjoy the benefits of learning English in Canada.
Fanshawe College’s programme is certified by Western University and Languages Canada.
- Students acquire knowledge and skills in:
- Grammar> Listening
- Reading> Speaking
- Writing> Pronunciation
- The English language programme will help you to:
- Gain confidence communicating in English in education and at work;
- Prepare for standard examinations such as IELTS or TOEFL.
- Take the English Language Evaluation (ELE) Test
The ESL programme starts every eight weeks throughout the year.
Start studying when it suits you!
ESL textbooks cost around $150–250 per level. There are 5 ESL levels; students need not complete all of them, depending on their test result. For one 4-week session, textbooks cost $50. The college also requires a $200 deposit, of which $150 is refundable.
Living expenses in Canada plus tuition — $1500–2000 per month.
