Private Conservatory in Košice

Súkromné konzervatórium on Zádielska 12 in Kosice is a creative environment where talented teenagers and young people get a real opportunity to reveal their artistic potential. The school combines professional training, modern teaching methods, stage practice and International Opportunities. That is why the conservatory is considered one of the most powerful art institutions in Eastern Slovakia.

The training lasts 6 years in full-time form, after which students receive a diploma of DiS.art – Diplomovaný umelec, And after the 4th year they make a maturitu. This means that graduates have both complete secondary education and professional artistic qualifications, which allows them to work in creative teams, theaters, studios or continue their studies in art universities.

The main directions of training:

• Vocals (Spev)

This direction is suitable for those who dream of singing professionally — in the classic style, pop direction, jazz or modern stage. Students work on voice technique, stage submission, interpretation of works and recordings in the studio. They perform at concerts, participate in performances and professional shows, gaining real experience of the live stage.

• Music and Dramatic Art (Hudobno-dramatické umenie)

This is a comprehensive program that includes acting, working with emotion, stage movement, diction, singing and individual creative training. The direction is suitable for future actors of theater, cinema, television projects and stage shows. Students regularly play performances and pass master classes with professional artists.

• Musicl (Muzikál)

One of the most popular areas that combines singing, acting and dance. This is a program for those who want to work in theater musicals, television productions or large stage shows. Students train with teachers who have real experience in production and stage activities, which gives a very high practical level of training.

• Dance (Tanec)

The program includes classical ballet, modern dance, jazz, contemporary, pop and folk styles. Students work with choreographers, participate in productions, performances and projects. A special advantage is an individual approach — each student receives regular consultations and the opportunity to work with professionals of the dance scene.

 

The conservatory focuses on practice: regular performances, show programs, international internships through Erasmus+, creative master classes and intensive with teachers from abroad. Students have access to professional classrooms and rehearsal halls, free costumes for projects, individual classes and consultations.

The cost of training remains affordable – 45 € per month, and the most successful students can receive partial or full scholarship exemption.
