Peking University
Beijing Beida University was founded in December 1898.
Beijing University is located in the northwest of Beijing, in the “Descent” district of Haidian. The campus is considered one of the most beautiful places in the world. It occupies the territories of the former imperial gardens of the Qing Dynasty, surrounded by traditional Chinese landscapes and many ancient buildings.
Today, Beida is the most important higher education institution in China.
Beijing University was the first institution that accepted the training of foreign students, in 1952 it was opened “The course of Chinese language learning for foreign students”.
- Program of study for foreign students on the basis of a certificate for the 11th grade:
- Group with intensive study of Chinese language.
- Intensive language courses without entrance exams, without HSK certificate, with zero knowledge of the Chinese language.
The University attaches great importance to the study of Chinese culture. Students get acquainted with Chinese calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, Erhu (traditional Chinese musical instrument), martial arts. Each semester, various events are held, including competitions in Chinese, competitions in Chinese, competition in Chinese works, etc.
