Duties of a healthcare assistant:
1. Caring for a patient at home or in hospital
2. Helping care for sick and dependent people as part of a therapy and rehabilitation team
3. Assisting a nurse with patient care procedures
4. identifying and addressing problems in patients of different ages
5. Helping meet the basic daily needs of sick people and those unable to live independently
6. The ability to meet the needs of patients with mental health and social problems.
