Hainan Tropical Ocean University
Hainan Tropical Ocean University – the only state university of the southern coast of Sanya. It is recognized as one of the ten “Centers for Educational Assistance of the Ministry of Education of China”. Serves as a cradle of talent improvement for the Hainan province and functions as a center of innovation in the knowledge, social service and heritage of culture in South China. HTU occupies a total area of 300 acres with two campuses located respectively in Sanya (main campus) – a tropical seaside resort known for its white sandy beaches and ocean views, and Wuzhishan – the mountain center of Hainan Island.
HTOU has 9 experimental centers and 13 schools offering diplomas for the MTA (Master of Tourism Administration), 39 programs for students and 12 three-year educational programs. Its educational disciplines have expanded to 9 areas, which include literature, science, engineering, management, law, history, agriculture, education and art.
Bachelor’s program with Chinese language of study (4 years). Requirement: Chinese level- HSK 4. A full government grant.
