A meeting of Slovak students in Poltava

A conversation over coffee.

On Saturday 20 August, our students in Slovakia — both current students and those preparing to leave — met in a friendly, informal setting. Future students asked about their journeys, accommodation and everyday life.

We learned that residences have gyms and study rooms; lecture attendance is not always compulsory if students can master the material independently; and students could earn around EUR 3 per hour from part-time work.

Questions covered choosing a bank, whether residences provide irons, differences between Ukrainian and Slovak ways of thinking — spoiler: communication comes easily — language difficulties and understanding others. Students received plenty of advice and practical details, making the meeting very useful. Once again, we found that study abroad could be more advantageous and even less expensive than studying in Ukraine.

We are proud to stay in touch with our students. Clients can count on information and answers to their questions. Call or write if you would like to join the friendly community of Ukrainian students in Slovakia!
