Summer Slovak-language courses
Published · 15.03.2017

Course dates: 31 July–20 August 2017. Minimum age: 16. Up to twelve students per group. Classes run Monday–Friday for five to six hours daily, with opportunities for active conversation with native speakers. Weekends are free.
Fee: EUR 850. Included are 90 hours of Slovak with a native speaker, textbooks and handouts, drinking water and sandwiches throughout the course, and an introduction to local facilities: shops, post offices, stations, pools, clubs, the university, cafés, restaurants and theatres.
The fee also includes two excursions — to Donovaly ski resort and Slovakia’s oldest city, Nitra — and accommodation in twin or triple residence rooms.
Optional trips to Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava and Slovak towns, castles and caves are available at additional cost.
The course is intended for people wishing to communicate fluently in Slovak, enter public educational institutions without examinations and study tuition-free, or develop a business in Slovakia.
