Translated testimonial. Names, dates and circumstances are retained from the original.

I am writing about my impressions of China and Hangzhou Dianzi University, where I study.

China From the moment I arrived, I began having new experiences and finding everything surprising: a completely different outlook, beautiful scenery and new technology. To my surprise, the country did not seem foreign or mysterious. I quickly got used to new things and now live and study here comfortably.

Hangzhou, where I settled, combines the latest technology with magnificent natural scenery. I particularly liked how distinctive it is: it is easy to find your way around, yet there is always something new to discover. Hangzhou is full of parks, rivers and other captivating places. There is always something to see and somewhere to enjoy nature.

Despite the beautiful scenery, the climate is not ideal. The weather changes, and you never know what it will be like the next day. Mostly, however, it is sunny and pleasant, sometimes even hot.

People in China are kind. They never refuse to help and will always show you the way. Even the language barrier did not stop me making Chinese friends. Sociability and friendliness directly describe the Chinese people I have met.

The first thing that attracted me to Hangzhou Dianzi University was its architecture. It is a whole little town with huge buildings everywhere. Finding my building among so many was sometimes difficult but entertaining. The campus has monuments, parks, rivers and stadiums. Hangzhou Dianzi really is fascinating to look at.

The interiors deserve praise too. The buildings look pleasant and are full of entertainment and conveniences, including table tennis, coffee and soft-drink machines, and lifts. Buildings generally have at least three floors, with around ten classrooms, a balcony and two toilets on each. The classrooms have modern equipment and everything needed for enjoyable study.

A little about studying: the daily timetable is very well organised. I never feel exhausted, even after the busiest day. Teachers explain things well and are always willing to help. They are qualified specialists and professionals. I find studying here convenient, enjoyable and comfortable. To applicants choosing where to study next, I would say: do not be afraid, and trust professionals to help prepare your admission documents.
