Social anthropology – UCA in Bratislava
Social anthropology is a field of science that studies human society, culture and behavior in a variety of manifestations, functioning, evolution and interaction. It is based on long-term ethnographic field studies in which anthropologists come into close contact with the studied community to understand its structure, values, customs and dynamics.
The purpose of the study at the first level is to acquire students’ basic and cross-level knowledge of social anthropology, especially with an emphasis on application at the level corresponding to the current level of knowledge.
