Mikuláš Kováč Grammar School in Banská Bystrica
For 23 years, he has been studying at the Mikulasz Kovacs Gymnasium, a legendary Slovak poet and writer.
The school was founded in 1993 with a four-year grammar-school programme, and expanded to an eight-year programme in 1997. A bilingual section teaching in Spanish opened in the 2002/2003 academic year. In January 2005, the school was named Mikuláš Kováč Grammar School.

- In combination with intensive sports classes (12 hours a week).
Special attention is paid to the study of Spanish and Chinese (20 hours a week).
Native teachers prepare students to pass the Chinese language test to the C-1 level and the opportunity to see with their own eyes China. And also to the test for the level of DELA in Spanish.
From the second year of study in the program – 3 hours a week of another foreign language – English, French, Spanish, German.
There are a variety of creative groups in the gymnasium. Social pedagogue helps to cope with problems.
