Why Fanshawe?
For more than 40 years, Fanshawe has been successfully engaged in higher and professional education. Fanshawe is located in the beautiful city of London, which is also called the “forest city” because of the large number of greens and parks, with a population of about 500 thousand inhabitants with suburbs. Fanshawe is Canada’s 6th largest college (Institute of Applied Education) offering about two hundred programs to obtain a certificate, diploma, bachelor’s degree and postgraduate education.
Fanshawe programs are aimed at employment in the most promising industries – health care, information technology, environment, engineering, tourism, etc.

Unlike many other educational institutions, Fanshawe really pays attention to the preparation of students not only from an academic point of view, but also in the aspect of implementation in the Canadian labor market. Consultations on job search strategy, resume preparation, interview completion, competent construction of the Co-op semester and employer involvement – each college employee makes incredible efforts. Two + Two = Bachelor Degree

2+2 programs are a direct transfer to the university’s senior courses after studying in Fanshawe.

If you graduate from a 2-year college program, you will be eligible to work from 2 to 3 years in the received specialty. After 2 years of official stay in Canada and in the presence of a contract with an employer, you have the right to apply for the status of a resident of Canada.

After obtaining the status of a resident, you can enter the 3rd year and complete your education (in this case, the cost of training for you will be half cheaper, that is, for a citizen of Canada).

3. Knowledge of English: TOEFL – Min. 79 points; IELTS – at least 6.0

Work in Canada
Fanshawe College is one of the most successful universities in the province. Ratings and employment of graduates exceed similar indicators of colleges in Toronto. Especially successful areas of study at Fanshawe College are hotel and restaurant business, media broadcasting, music industry art, nursing, aerospace engineering, engineering, social work, entrepreneurship.

• College work: No work permit required for campus vacancies, but their number may be limited.
• Off-campus work: If you are studying in a specialty, you can work off-campus up to 20 hours a week during your studies and up to 40 hours during your holidays. Students of language courses are not allowed to work while studying.
• Co-operative Education Work Terms: work during Co-op programs is 4 months per year.
• Post-graduation Work Permit Program: after graduation, you can apply for a work permit up to 3 years.

– rent an apartment in Toronto – from 1250 dollars (average living conditions), in London – from 600 dollars, 

– a room in Toronto can be rented for 650-700 dollars, in London – for 300-400 per month.

Residences at Fanshawe College are of different types: usual for us dormitories and town houses. A very nice town, consisting of town-houses for students, is only five minutes from the campus of the educational institution. And multi-storey buildings (as we are used to – dormitories) are generally connected with the college building itself, you can not even go outside!

Homestay (family accommodation):
• Separate room and 3 meals 7 days a week.
• 850 Canadian dollars per month, prepayment for at least 2 months, additionally a one-time fee of 150 Canadian dollars for the selection of a family.

Town-houses of the college:
• 5-6 bedrooms
• The conditions are similar to the residence, but there is no phone and a mandatory food plan.
• Standard bedroom: $5,800 for 8 months, small bedroom: $5,540 for 8 months.
